Feralta is born from the passion for specialty coffee and the legacy of our families in Sotará, Cauca, Colombia.

Our journey started with Kafe5Aromas, a project supported by Fundación Cielo Verde and made up of five coffee farms working together for quality, traceability, and community impact.

From the first of these farms, we created our very first specialty coffee micro-lot: Katara. Produced by José Luis, a young coffee grower, together with his mother, Francy, Katara represents quality, traceability, and the hope of a new generation of Colombian coffee farmers.

At Feralta, we believe in fair partnerships. We pay the coffee grower a premium, fair price for their work, and we also give back 10% of our profits to support educational and community development projects through Fundación Cielo Verde.

While Katara is just the beginning, we continue working with the other farms in the project to bring more unique coffees to the world.
